As many of you have guessed, it's flare jeans that I swore I would never wear again, but when I tried these, I thought that this was time to change something, I mean these types of jeans can be really flattering!
I guess matching them with a denim shirt was the safest way to go, until I figure out how to fully incorporate them into my wardrobe.
P.S. Please excuse the messy hair, it was really windy when we were taking these shots.
I'm wearing:
Jeans - 7 For All Mankind (found similar ones here, here and here)
Denim shirt - H&M
Shoes - Asos from last year
Bag - ASOS Contrast Duffle Bag
Never Say Never
Today I'm wearing something I thought I would never put on again. Can you guess what this is?
Gotta go run some important errands that I will tell you about a bit later.
Have a great day!!!
Look of the Day: Maxi Skirt
It's been so long since I last wore this skirt I made last year. Right now its seems like a perfect fall piece, cause it's super warm and, what's more important, it's black, I just can't help wearing dark clothes when it's cold and all those mustard yellows and teals seem so uninteresting :)
On another note, a couple of days ago I cut about 20 cm of my hair and now feel like I have no hair at all, cause what's left feels so light :) I hope it grows back quickly!
I'm wearing:
Jacket - Zara
Shirt - unknown
Bag - Asos (similar ones here, here and here).)
Skirt - made it myself
Boots - Newlook
Skirt - Made it myself
New Bags from Asos
Again, I fell for Asos bags, I just can't seem to control myself whenever I see a pretty bag that goes on sale :) Which of these bags do you like the most?
First bag - ASOS Faux Croc Tuck Lock Day Bag (already out of stock, but they have similar ones in other colors here, here and here).
Second bag - ASOS Contrast Duffle Bag

New Chief In Town
My wife spotted an Indian on The Beach yesterday, He looked approachable so we chatted for a minute. Very proud of his tattoo (some by Freddy Negrete Jr.)
Daniel Clowes on WNYC's Leonard Lopate.
Daniel Clowes will be a guest on WNYC's Leonard Lopate show on Tuesday, October 18th in anticipation of his event at the Housing Works Bookstore Cafe the same day at 7PM with fellow cartoonist Seth.
Current Cravings: Alexander Wang
Despite the fact that Alexander Wang happens to be one of my favorite designers, I still don't own any item from his collections. Even though the prices seem quite reasonable given the quality of the pieces and the timelessness of their designs, I always fall for cheap stuff from high street, ending up with 10 bags/shoes from Zara or Asos instead of a really high quality designer item.
Anyways, I'm officially starting to save on the Midnight Adriel bag and one of these boots, not sure, which ones, though, they both look gorgeous and super wearable. I've also been drooling over the T by Alexander Wang sweaters and jumpers, they look super cozy and really flattering!
1. Black Leonie boots - $695.00
2. Luca - Espresso Nubuck - $625.00
3. Elephant Stiff Cotton Raglan Zip Sweatshirt - $158.00
4. Midnight Adriel With Rhodium Hardware - $475.00
Look of the Day: Suede boots
I've been wearing these Asos boots almost non stop since I received them a couple weeks ago, not only are they super comfy, they also seem to add sort of a laid back touch to any outfit. Also, this New Yorker top is my first take on the whole tribal/aztec hype that's going on all over the bloggies. I definitely love the print, but it looks like I don't have much stuff to match it with.
On another note, I've just taken on a sewing/tailoring course :) I feel like I have this huge DIY potential, but can't seem to start creating clothes being afraid to mess up the fabrics :) Anyways, I hope this course will bring me confidence enough to make stuff I either can't find anywhere or refuse to pay for :)
Have a fun weekend!
